- Limited card details, such as brand and last four digits
MyGaragePilot should not receive or store your complete payment-card number when payment is processed by the payment provider.

Automated output may be incomplete or incorrect.
You are responsible for reviewing extracted or generated information before relying on it. MyGaragePilot is not a substitute for inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, or advice from a qualified automotive professional.
Depending on the feature, submitted content may be transmitted to a service provider that processes the content on our behalf. We seek to limit transmitted information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature.
6. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate MyGaragePilot, including providers of:
- Cloud hosting
- Data storage and backups

MyGaragePilot allows records to be shared with other people.
Depending on the role and configuration, organization members or vehicle viewers may be able to see:

- Mileage
- Maintenance history

- Documents

- Notes
- Health information
- Other vehicle-related records
Review roles and permissions before inviting another person or sharing a vehicle.
When access is revoked, the other person may retain information they previously exported, downloaded, copied, or received outside MyGaragePilot.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- Maintain your account
- Meet legal and financial obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements

Retention periods may vary by information type.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or logs until those systems are rotated or deleted under normal retention procedures.
Some records may be retained after account deletion when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for:

- Securing your devices
- Signing out of shared devices
- Keeping account contact information current
- Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access
